The Colony Hotel

This design and construct project was located within the beautiful grounds of Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley. The development included the construction of 32 two storey short stay accommodation units, an asphalt car park and extensive landscaping, all of which had to be integrated into the existing infrastructure and services.

The building structure consists of a combination of raw concrete wall panels, stone cladding, stained timber and rendered brickwork, which tied into the natural setting and existing buildings on the property. The interior design incorporated a modern colour palette with a functional layout, which achieved the design brief that was aimed at creating a relaxed and luxurious feel, while taking in the tranquil views of the Swan River and adjoining vineyards.
